Want to know what's been going on with Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen? You got it, dude!
Though it had been a New York minute since the world's arguably most famous twins had been photographed, The Row co-founders delivered back-to-back public appearances this winter. First stepping out with sister Elizabeth Olsen in New York City Feb. 6, they then dusted off their passports to Paris, enjoying dinner at Caviar Kaspia after debuting their luxury line's Fall 2024/Winter 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week.
However when it came to the runway show itself, attendees lips were sealed (we could do this all day, guys!) as the famously press-shy sisters requested no one capture any content of the fashions.
"We don't dive into that world," Ashley explained to Net-a-Porter back in 2017. "We don't have Instagram or Facebook." And after experiencing their childhood in the most glaring of spotlights, they're enjoying their lives under the radar as NYC fashion designers (albeit ones with a collection of CFDA Fashion Awards). As Mary-Kate put it in a 2021 interview with i-D, "We were raised to be discreet people."
Which is why Ashley has said not a peep about welcoming son Otto with husband of nearly two years, Louis Eisner, last summer. Nor do we expect Mary-Kate—who separated from ex-husband Olivier Sarkozy in 2020—to address her recent reunion with her early aughts boyfriend, retired hockey player Sean Avery.
But did you really think we'd miss the opportunity to mark their 38th birthday June 13? Oh, please. It takes more than two pics to celebrate such a momentous occasion, so allow us to present a whole album.
