Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is on the mend—thanks, in part, to wife Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The former photographer—son of soccer star David Beckham and fashion mogul Victoria Beckham, along with siblings Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12—shared an Instagram post on Aug. 2 from a hospital bed, noting he suffered from an injury.
In the black-and-white photo, Brooklyn can be seen smirking and flashing a peace sign while wearing a hospital gown and medical bracelet.
“Broke my shoulder,” Brooklyn wrote in the caption, “but all good cause I have @nicolaannepeltzbeckham to look after me xx love you babe.”
Indeed, Brooklyn's loved ones, including wife Nicola, are there to support him. It was just months ago that Brooklyn called the actress his "angel."
"Happy anniversary to my absolute angel,” he said in an April post commemorating their second wedding anniversary. “You are my butter to my toast, I can’t wait to grow young with you xx I love you my forever girl."
And it’s not just during the good times that Nicola has been by his side—she's also been there while he’s faced critics.
"I mean, I can't help how I was born," Brooklyn told InStyle in a June 10 interview in response to nepotism claims. "I'm just trying to work my ass off and trying to make a name for myself. That's all I can say, really."
And that pursuit within the cooking world has garnered its own criticism.
"To be honest, I'm used to the hate," he said in an Oct. 19 interview with Business Insider. "It doesn't really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me."
"My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write," he continued. "There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down. I'm doing my thing and working my bum off. So they can keep writing what they want, but it's not going to bother me—I'm just going to keep doing my thing."
Read on to see Brooklyn and Nicola’s romance journey from the beginning.
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz were first spotted together in October 2019. The hot new couple were photographed leaving a dinner for the Transformers: Age of Extinction star's birthday on January 8, 2020, shortly before going Instagram official.
A month later, the pair made their Fashion Week debut at the Saint Laurent show in Paris.
In July 2020, Brooklyn announced the couple's engagement, writing on Instagram, "I am the luckiest man in the world."
The lovebirds made their Met Gala debut in 2021.
After tying the knot in April 2022, the duo enjoyed some downtime visiting a farmer's market in Los Angeles.
Later in 2022, Brooklyn and Nicola made some moves at Variety's Power Of Young Hollywood Celebration.
Quickly becoming Fashion Week regulars, the stylish couple attended several New York runway shows in September 2022.
On October 29, 2022, Brooklyn posted a sweet anniversary tribute to his wife, writing on Instagram, "Can’t believe it’s been 3 years, I feel like I have known you my whole life."
Brooklyn showed his support at the premiere of Nicola's Hulu series, Welcome to Chippendales.
The couple looked dapper in matching black suits at the 2023 Women in Film Oscar party.
They returned to the Met Gala yet again in 2023.
The young stars got dressed up once more for the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
Victoria Beckham showed her support at the premiere of her daughter-in-law's directorial debut, Lola, in February 2024.
